Apply for TFN
A tax file number (TFN) is your personal reference number in the tax and superannuation systems. If you want to get a job, apply for government benefits and to get an ABN – Australian business number you need a TFN.
It’s free, and can apply on ATO website Apply for a TFN | Australian Taxation Office (ato.gov.au).You may receive your TFN within 28 days after ato will receive your completed application and required identity documents. Keep your TFN identity safe and your bank, employer, ATO, Super fund, tax agent, Services Australia may ask for TFN number.

Open Superannuation Account
Superannuation is money placed aside by your work employer over your working period for you to live on when you retire from work. It is important for you, because the more you save, the more money you will have for your retirement.
Check your Health Insurance (Visa condition and personal requirement)

You can open your bank account to keep, save and transfer money. Also to receive your wedges from employer you require Australian bank account. Familiar with Public Transport
Based on which state you are, you need to check public transport availability matching to your study or work duration. In Australia, you may have Metro trains, tram and/or Bus.
